Vidorreta
Vidorreta is a family business founded in 1995, the year we designed and marketed our first collection of espadrilles. The previous generation was already linked to the sector, dedicating themselves to the production of the jute braid used to make the soles of this footwear.
A craft tradition deeply rooted in the family's hometown, Cervera del Río Alhama, considered the cradle of the espadrille and declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
Vidorreta espadrilles, sewn by hand, keep alive a craft tradition that makes them a unique product: the imperfection of the handcrafted is part of their essence. We remain faithful to hand-stitching, carried out stitch by stitch by our artisans in La Rioja. A tradition that, together with significant design and innovation work, ensures that our collections are complete, high-quality, and on-trend.
At Vidorreta, we remain committed to the value of artisan work, something that remains intact in our brand identity. The processes are controlled and under our supervision in all the workshops we work with, from the beginning to the end of the manufacturing process; always with the aim of guaranteeing the handling of the product and the final piece.

We have a recycling policy within our production system, sorting and recycling materials. In addition, we have a renewable energy policy, dedicating the factory roof to producing clean, ecological solar energy that powers the production system.

We design two main collections each year: Spring-Summer and Autumn-Winter. These collections cater to a very broad audience and include women's espadrilles in different heights—wedge, platform, and flat; bridal espadrilles; and men's espadrilles in a variety of materials and finishes for different occasions. Throughout each season, we reinforce our collections with capsule launches that respond to market trends and immediate consumer needs.
